“The idea to start something on my own came up as a spark when COVID-19 started. After spending many years in NGO sector, I wanted to find the way how to apply this knowledge to my business as a mentor and consultant. My vision is that NGOs and social businesses would be sustainable, self-sufficient and have a conscious impact on their target groups and society in the long-term. The programme helped me to test and adjust my business plan and think about options of services that I could be offering to my target groups. During my exchange I got familiar with different approaches and creative tools for organizations in their impact measurement, responsible communication, and social impact creation, which I can also use in my consultancy work in the future. I managed to open a self-employment licence, which means a great step forward for me. Thanks to the exchange I am building my brand– working on my personal website with the fields of focus that I clarified with guidance of my host entrepreneur. My business has an ambition to become global, but with a special focus on Central Europe and Western Balkans region.
